Review : Make Up Remover Wipes @ Bifesta & Simple

Hi Hi Lovelies,

I am back for more reviews... as you know I like to try new makeup removers to find which best suit me and of cos to determine which can actually fall in my holy grail makeup removers category.

 I have reviewed on a few product previously, click on the links below if you are interested to find out what I think about them.

 ❤ Bifesta Cleaning Lotion ❤

 ❤Biore/Dove/Kanebo Freshel❤

 Today I am going to review on 2 makeup wipes that I have recently purchased and tried.

 1. Bifesta Water Based Cotton Cleansing Sheets.

 

This product is similar to the Bifesta Cleaning Lotion that I have reviewed earlier but now the form of wipes which makes it more convenient especially for travel.

Each packet consists of 46 sheets which can last you for a month or maybe slightly longer depending on individual's usage.

❥Information on Packaging

For normal to Dry Skin - Gentle and Refreshing Water Based Cotton Sheets that throughly removes makeup & dirt. Contains Ceramide-like ingredient for Moisturising.

❤❤ This product claims 100% Oil free. Its water based formula leaves skin fresh and non- sticky for a super clean and comfortable feel. (True enough, my face does not feel sticky at all after using and no discomfort is caused as the wipes are pretty soft)

❤❤ Throughly removes makeup without the need to rinse off or double cleanse with facial wash. (Yes you can choose not to double cleanse but usually I would still wash my face with facial wash to ensure all traces of makeup have been removed..) 

❤❤ Its gentle and fast removal of makeup makes it pleasure to use. (This I totally AGREE!!) 

❤❤ This product is oil free, colouring free & Fragrance Free (Love Love Love!!!)

❤❤ Love this product!! It really make life so much easier when removing makeup. The wipes are decently soaked with the cleansing lotion and most of the time, one wipe is sufficient for my whole face makeup. However, I do not recommend to use it to remove waterproof mascaras, it will take quite a while to remove and alot of tugging will be involved.

❤❤ Price range is about $15.90 SGD and it is available at Watsons. I think the price is pretty reasonable since it can last me for more than a month.

❤❤ I think it has quickly became one of my holy grail makeup wipes and I strongly recommend lazy people like me to try this out and its great and handy for travels too!!

❤❤ The plastic closure also helps to retain the moisture of the wipes more efficiently compared to those resealable type.  


  ❤❤ Overall, I really like this product and this is my 2nd packet already and will definitely continue to repurchase this product.

2. Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes


 

Each packet consist of 25 wipes which can last for about 20 - 25 days depending on individual's usage.

Suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin.

❤❤ This product claims to contain Vital Vitamins - Pro Vitamin B5 which actively restores, softens and smoothes skin. Contains no alcohol, Oil, Perfume and Colour. Dermatologically Tested and Approved. It also claimed that it is able to remove water proof mascara (I do not think that these wipes can remove waterproof makeup / mascara)

❤❤ For best results, gently wipe over eyelids, face and neck to cleanse the skin morning and night. Ensure pack is resealed to prevent the wipes from drying out.

❤❤ I am not impressed with this product. I personally feel that the wipes does not contain enough cleansing product to remove makeup efficiently and the wipes are pretty rough. I do not think that it is able to remove waterproof makeup or mascara. If you do not wear alot of makeup or waterproof makeup, this product can definitely do its job. 

❤❤ The pack must be sealed back properly to prevent drying out of product.

❤❤ Will not repurchase this product and I would only use these wipes during light makeup days.

Review : NARUKO Narcissus Total Defence Range

Hello Everyone... Another review on skincare products for you all.. this time I am going to separate into different parts.. Part 1 - Starting with NARUKO Narcissus Total Defence Range products and Part 2 will be on NARUKO's Tea Tree Products and of cos Part 3 will be on the other NARUKU products that I have tried. However, I did not purchase the full range of products for each type.


Lets start with some background of NARUKO...


NARUKO skincare was developed by Nui Er, one of the Taiwanese Beauty Expertise (you will know who he is if u have watched the popular Taiwanese women beauty program "Nu Ren Wo Zui Da").


The NARUKO skin care products are designed to be not only affordable but they are also formulated with the most natural ingredients. NARUKO's skincare products are environmental friendly as they are not tested on animals. All NARUKO skincare products comes in an environmentally-friendly packaging. The boxes are designed to be simple and elegant on the outside but with beautiful floral prints inside. All boxes can be re-fold into little reusable box or containers. 


NARUKO skincare products are also free from artificial colouring and fragrance and also parabens.


Enough of the background of NARUKO. Lets move on to the 2 products that I own.


NARUKO Narcissus Total Defence - Make-up Removing Mousse


This product is a oil-based make-up remover that transform for liquid into foaming mousse instantly upon one pump. The rich foam rapidly dissolves dirt and makeup, and at the same time deep cleanses the pores. It contains narcissus bulb extract and the patented Phytoferulin complex that revitalizes the skin. The residue-free formula leaves the skin soft, smooth and clarified.

❤ After Use ❤ 
The mousse is very fine and lathers up pretty well. Its does not leave a oily feel after washing even though its claimed to be oil based... not dry either. It is capable to remove water proof face and eye makeup however, I recommend to use a separate eye makeup remover as this product stings when it accidentally gets into the eye. AND IT REALLY STING BIG TIME!! It has a very subtle smell to it, very flowery nice scent.

❤ How to Use ❤ 
1. Press about 3 pumps and massage onto the entire face.
2. Add water to emulsify and then rinse off.

❤ Rating❤ 
This product is pretty decent to use and also affordable. Will definitely repurchase it when needed (trying out too many makeup removers). 4/5 ★★★★

NARUKO Narcissus Total Defence - Night Brightening Serum


This serum contains a unique skin brightener that provides advanced anti-aging ingredients which repair, restore and firm the complexion while you sleep. It reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The skin awakens with more radiance, glowing and  youthfulness.

❤ After Use ❤ 
Skin feels supple, soft and brightened up the next day and the results is pretty obvious. Not much effects seen on reducing of fine lines or maybe there is but just not very noticeable. However, it really helps in brighten up the skin and there is significant difference when u use and not use the product. Have the same flora scents as the Make-up Removing Mousse. The texture of it is not oily and can be easily absorbed into the skin. Not tacky or stickiness at all.

❤ How to Use ❤ 
1. Press 1 - 2 pumps and spread over the entire face (I usually massage in circular motions).
2. Go To Bed!!

❤ Rating❤ 
Definitely will repurchase it. I feel it acts as a very good foundation serum in helping to restore the skin. Also seen the brightening effect of this product. I would not say that it will make you significant fairer but it will definitely helps in brighten up the complexion and make u look more radiant in the morning. 5/5 ★★★★★

New Crocs New You - MakeOver Contest

Hey lovelies...

Continuing from my previous blog post about the New Crocs New You Fashion Showcase 2012. Bloggers who attended this event were entitled a pair of Free Crocs and I have managed to choose mine the next day at Vivo City Outlet (cos I happened to go back there for lunch the next day with my hubby and his family so I took this chance to pick up my free pair of Crocs).

Its definitely hard to choose from the varieties available. I initially wanted to get MELBOURNE II LACE in Pink which 1st caught my eyes, love love love the casual design and the cute ribbon on it but I ended up choosing CARLISA MINI WEDGE and I chosen black colour among the 3 colours available (Black, Brown & Pink) as I thought it will be able to match most of my clothes even formal enough to go with formal work attire. (will upload some photos when I have a chance to take my OOTD with my new Crocs!!)

PS: I think I will go back and get the MELBOURNE II LACE someday!! I cant get over my obsession on the ribbon!!

New Crocs New You @ Vivo City Fashion Showcase 2012

Hey guys.. today I would like to share with you about the awesome event that I wen to last weekend. I was invited to attend the New Crocs New You Fashion Showcase @ Crocs VivoCity!! Super excited and lotsa bloggers were also invited to attend this event.

I was overwhelmed the moment I reached the Crocs outlet at Vivocity. The whole outlet was flooded (with people!!). Then I realised how popular Crocs is in Singapore.

Look at the crowd!! I cant even find a good place to station myself but I managed to squeeze in the shop to take some pictures.

New Crocs New You is a new collection with huge range of varieties to choose from but more designs for ladies I reckoned. This range focus on Walk in Comfort, Walk in Style. As we all know, the Crocs shoes are renowned for their comfort but now they have came out with more design to suit more outfits, isn't it GREAT?!

The 1st pair that caught my eyes!! HELLO KITTY!! Also available in pink I think.. Def collectible!

Nice striking orange sandals.. Suitable for Spring and the lovely beach~

Love Love Love this one!! But I end up choosing something more "formal" which will be shown later! (I might prob go back to get this pair someday!)

Review : BIfesta Cleaning Lotions

It has been so long since my last update on my blog, sorry for the lack of blog post as working life is soo super hectic for me and toooo tired and no motivation to sit down and write something. Ok.. enough of my ranting... and straight up to my review on Bifesta Non-Rinse Makeup Removers.

I have been trying out soo many makeup removers trying to find the one that is best for me. Reviews of some of the makeup removers that i have tried earlier >> ❤ Click here❤ I have came across this Bifesta Non-Rinse Makeup Removers only like last year when i did a swap with my Christine dear on some makeup / skin care product. She passed me the Bifesta Cleansing Lotion in Moist and I immediately feel in love with it and it became my HOLY GRAIL Makeup remover!! Totally swear by it!!

Bifesta Cleansing Lotion comes in different types for different skin types and so far I have tried almost all.

☆Bifesta Cleansing Lotion - Moist (I ❤ this the most among all)

- Comes in white bottle
- Suitable for Dry Skin
- Contains Ceramide for Moisturising

☆Bifesta Cleansing Lotion - Age Care (Too sticky for my liking ✘)

- Comes in Pink Bottle
- For Age Care
- Contains Q10 to improve Skin Elasticity & Hydration

☆Bifesta Cleansing Lotion - Bright Up ( I like this too but i still prefer Moist)

- Comes in Blue Bottle
- For Dull Skin
- Contains Saxifrage Extract and Lactic AHA to remove dead skin cells & improve skin luminosity.

☆Bifesta Cleansing Lotion - Sebum Control ( Too dry for my skin)

- Comes in Green bottle ( I only have the sample bottle from Nuffnang)
- For Oily Skin ( I dont quite recommend those who have dry skin like me)

☆Bifesta Cleansing Lotions ☆

- Light & non-sticky yet provides powerful cleansing action just like oil cleansers.
- Gentle to skin
- Derivedfrom skin toners that contain oil dissolving moisturising agents. Oil contained in makeup is lifted quickly without scrubbing and give skins ample moisture while cleansing thoroughly.
- No need to rinse off or double cleanse (but i always do wash my face again).
- No need for skin care step as lotion contains moisturising & toning properties
- Fast and easy = wipe and go to bed!
- Contains Absorbent Hyaluronic Acid which retains more moisture that normal hyaluronic acid.
- Contains new plus0ion hyaluronic acid structure which helps to retain moisture on skin even after rinsing off with water.
- Hypoallergenic, Oil free, Colouring Free, Fragrance Free, Paraben Free, Alcohol Free.

➸Instructions to Use

- Thoroughly soak cotton with lotion (use about 3 pumps per cotton pad) and wipe makeup away gently
- Change cotton pads and repeat until cotton remain clean after wiping
- When removing eye makeup, gently hold cottom on eye area for a while before wiping off and take note do not let product get into your eyes (Moist one doesnt really sting but the others does)
- Double cleansing with facial foam is not required (but i always do to make sure my face is 100% free from makeup residues)

❥ Will I repurchase it? Yes and I already did more that once.
❥ Prefer Moist one the most, Sebum one is too drying for me and Q10 is too sticky.
❥ Love how convenient it is! I usually remove my face makeup using this cleansing lotion and rest until i move my lazy butt to wash my face.
❥It does have a scent to it but mild
